Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimens xeric to mesoxeric, usually psammophyle steppe and forest-steppe species Balkan-Pontic-Anatolian Festucion vaginatae, Scabiosion argenteae, Festucion valesiacae R16, R64 habitats     A typical steppe sand-dune species present also in the rest of the steppe grasslands but rarer.
